The Holy Quran recitation
Reading the Holy Quran has major benefits, it takes a prominent place in the life of a Muslim. Several verses in the Quran incite Muslims to read the Holy Book and show how believers who do it are rewarded in the afterlife.
The ahaadeeth reported on the Prophet (peace and prayers of Allah be upon him) through the Sunnah also came to reinforce this idea, we cite for example : Narrated `Uthman, The Prophet (peace and prayers of Allah be upon him) said, “The best among you (Muslims) are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it.”
There are several linguistic rules governing the reading and recitation of the Qur’an, however, several possibilities of reading (Tilawat) exist that depend on the calligraphy and punctuation of the sacred book. This is why we find recitations which differ from one country to another.
